For three years now we’ve been innovating and investing in top of the line technologies in order to make our hotel a much more comfortable place for our guests. Consequently making it sustainable through embracing environmental concepts always bearing in mind the new generations that will get to benefit from our planet natural resources as well as enjoy our country in its best shape possible.

Among the actions to be taken in order to stay on top of new developing technologies, we can proudly point out the following:

1.- Our swimming pool is sanitized with “ozone”, the most effective cleanser-disinfectant, which also does not leave any toxic wastes unlike chlorine does. Thereafter, there is virtually no need to constantly replace water, simultaneously having a much more effective usage of the existing water. 

2.- Throughout our hotel – in our main lobby entrance, elevators, bar side and other shared areas – we have replaced over 500 conventional light bulbs for LED ones (each one of the old type of light bulbs runs on 50 W, unlike the new LED type, which only requires 3 W) naturally in keeping with the hotel’s fine design at the same time than effectively using energy to a 400%.

3.- Over a year now the hotel is equipped with an environmentally friendly air conditioning system. We have invested in an air conditioning “chiller” with ecological coolant, which besides being energetically more effective, it helps save up to a 20% on energy.

4.- For some time now our “pergola” – the main lounge suitable for parties – has been equipped with LED technology, controlled by a DMX panel in order to provide the ideal lighting scenario for events using top of the line technology.

5.- The last step forward to becoming green has been carried out in our parking space. We have switched from old fluorescent tubes to magnetic-induction system lamps, which allow us 100.000 hours of light compared to the 2.000 hours of light provided by the old system

6.- We are a hotel always on the look out for change. We move forward according to the times and technologies; at the same time preserving quality and tradition, which makes us unique. Consequently, we have remodeled all bathrooms on the 5th floor up to the ones on the 11th floor, installing – in some of them – Jacuzzis in order to offer our guests a more pleasant leisure time.
